Our construction team

Our in-house construction company, Bromford Developments Ltd (BDL), plays an important role in the number of homes we build every year.

Over the past five years the team has built nearly 1,000 high-quality homes, with a real focus on delivering value-for-money, great customer service and an outstanding health and safety record. The 55-strong team oversee the building of homes on each site, working in partnership with local sub-contractors from start to finish. In each of the last two years, BDL site managers have won NHBC pride in the job awards in recognition of delivering the highest standards of housebuilding on the sites they run.

Having our own construction company provides us with control over the quality of the homes that are built, as evidenced by the fact that last year 100% of customers moving into homes built by BDL would recommend us as a builder and 97% were satisfied with the quality of their home. It also means we have control over the health and safety on our sites, and last year we achieved 94% scores across all our sites against a target of 87%. And it gives us control over how and when homes are completed and handed over ready for customers to move in.
